The tree highlights the scene a bit too much for me , quite nice all the same.

I love the colors! I like the yellow of the tree–it is a perfect counter-point to the steely gray rock and the icy blue water. Very well done.

Is that a road going behind the falls at the treeline?!? Amazing!

That is a hiking trail behind the falls. I’ve been here with my grandchildren on occasion. It’s a great place to visit if you are looking for a scenic hike that even the little ones (or the old folks) can negotiate.
This is a beautiful shot which captures the essence of the area very well.

This photo reminds me of Snoqualmy falls near Seattle, Wash. Beautiful!

Laurie, I think the dark horizontal line on the rock-face is a ledge caused by weathering………

Laurie and Katherine; that’s a foot path that goes behind the falls and the stone above the path is lava… This is one of my favorite parks and is only a short drive north of my home… And the sun is shining today and my dog wants to go for a walk…. hmmmmm

There is a walking path that goes underneath the falls. There are about six falls in the park all very pretty.
