Hillsborough River

by Paul Marcellini

The Hillsborough River is a beautiful gem of Florida. Its black water is stained with tannins from fallen leaves and the limestone rapids are something not found in many Florida rivers.

Excellent. You have captured the scene especially with the diffused light and its reflection on the water and leaves.

If that were an oak or beech tree, this could have been taken in my favorite local park. You’ve given us a taste of spring with that burst of sunlight, and for that I thank you!
