Formation of Destruction
by Md. Wahiduzzaman
For the sake of development we are destroying the environment, but it will take its revenge on us (the process has already began). We are building new buildings for us and for our future. But did we ever think who is gonna stay there ??

I hate this picture, but for all the right reasons.
I’ve been fighting environmental battles since the 70′s and will continue to do so. We’ve actually had a few victories here in the U.S., but you’ve forced us to smell the acrid smoke and see the ugliness. Continue to document, and I’ll continue to fight! Think globally–act locally.

Nice!!!! Great composition and tonalities!

Has the look and feel of modern music CD Cover. Album Title: “Gentley Waiting for the World to End.” It would make a nice wrap too.

Thought provoking.

The irony is that the child on the hill will probably end up working in the factory (if he doesn’t already) as that will be his only way to survive.

The beginning of the end documented without words. Scary reality. I hope you can publish and distribute it all over the world at forums like Earth Shots.

the picture says everything…love it!

You show two worlds, the promise of the future with the boy and the failure of the present with the smoke stack. That the photograph is in black and white adds to the two world theme. Our choice for the future is presented to us dramatically. Well done.

It is very good to see a provocative photograph once in a while. Make us remember the menace over all those other beatifull sceneries captured by the other photographers…

I love that the tree looks like the smokestack. Very creative.
