What a great piece! I’m not sure what it is, but whatever is surrounding the rocks looks absolutely great, almost framing them and setting them apart from the water that much more :]

A good shot Andy but surely you can tell us more about your shot, is that an oil layer surrounding the rocks?

Most of the northern hemisphere is caught up in a big freeze at the moment; that ice looks dodgy but not as bad as it is here at the moment.

The ice, water, and reflections almost look like a scene in a snow globe! Very nice potd.
