Autumn color reflected in the Ausable River of Adirondack State Park. This image was made on a sunny day, before the sun was high enough to cast light on the river. Areas of the scene in shadow, such as the rocks, are lit only by reflected light from the blue sky above.

beautiful, the gold reflected in the water almost gives another planet feel to this like you could just walk on the carpet of gold, or jump to each rock and stop on last one to do some fishing…great capture of true autumn splendor.
