The vastness of rock and the overhang of clouds is quite daunting. Very hard terraine, wouldn't want to venture out in it. A desert of labor. I know from walking on the beach at times right after a storm. There are tremendous rocks to try to get over, and the threat of a storm brewing, usually with wind, makes for a very stressful situation. Kind of like our lives, treking out over the all challanges (being rocks) then to be met with huge mountains....looks like it could have been a giant riverbed.
