Heavenly Fog

by Rajesh Vijayarajan

This was shot on a foggy morning underneath a beautiful tree at the peak of Nandi Hills in the outskirts of Bangalore, India. It's truly mesmerizing to see the leaves fade into the fog layer by layer.

to veil oneself in the mystery of gray light show impressions of strength in the boldness of life that lives deep within…

12th December 2009 at 4:50 pm

It looks as if the leaves are barely touching the huge branches, one amazing shot! Thank you Rajesh.

Rajesh, I agree with Andrea, in spite of the density of fog, life reaches out beyond what we know. It is the mystery of strength and faith captured quite appropriately in this scene. Thank you for the great shot. Makes for a great story.

Very spooky would make a super pattern for a landscape quilt.

Very good composition – Fog is good to make photographs in and of as it give a “Moody” feel to the otherwise “drab” image… BRAVO!

It’s a terrific shot. Reminds me of my tree
climbing days with a new day trying to break
through. Keep up the good work ! :)
