Interesting and most unusual. The blend of colors make this a winner.

Looks just like an eye alright. I like the colors.

Very interesting indeed. I like it. I don’t think I would have figured it out without the explanation.

Well, that hardly looks like an abstract. Its mimicking an eye of a large animal probably to ward off potential predators. What do you have to say Thomas? (Thomas Vingaud, if you are tuned in.)
Great composition John and Tina.

I agree with Anurag. What is abstract about it? It’s an interesting shot, however, but not exceptional.

Good, sharp macro shot; not the easiest thing to get all those tiny feathers in focus.

The warmth of knowing the eyes cover you and the knowledge seeps in with the vision of the world and encompasses you with all that emboldens your being and surrounds you with the colors of living…

My sister knew this was a moth/butterfly, but at first I thought you had added color to some animal shot……………
I’d also like to see the whole moth–size–habitat…….guess I’ll have to Google it.
Fantastic macro!
