Wet Season

by Paul Marcellini

A neutral density filter was used to lengthen the exposure at peak color of sunset. The moving clouds were then rendered as streaks to give some added interest to the image.
Equipment: Canon 20d, Canon 10-22, 10 stop neutral density filter

Yeow! Paul, The colors of this shot are terrific. The reflections are amazing. It catches your eye and makes you try to find out where the land and reflection connect. You did such a great job. Seems like I just get something new each time I look at it. Thanks a bunch for sharing.

And the Lord said, ‘Let there be light’. Wonderful shot–perfect composition, depth of field, and exposure. I’m awestruck!

A unique way of handling reflections, interspersing it with elements of the foreground. Great colors. Parts of the foreground though are a bit blown out for my liking.
