Sleepy Hollow Dreams

by Kevin McNeal

This is an image from my recent trip this fall to Vermont. This is one of the fantastic idyllic farm settings that looks great in the fall. Especially when the leaves fall like they do in this foreground. I choose to give it a slighty soft focus as it enhanced the mood of the colors and feel in this image.

Kevin, this is such a sweet scene. Habitation all nestled in brilliant colors, rich and vibrant. Looks like it is well cared for with mowing around the pond….someone cares about the beauty. You have captured tranquility and loveliness. I bet the air was fresh and country. The sounds of wildlife must be so fun to encounter. Thanks for the great shot. Makes for a wonderful scene in a story.

Wow, I love how the eye travels down the winding road to the farm, how the image is framed, the soft focus and the pops of colour throughout.

Kevin, congratulations on taking such a touching photo. You can see by all the remarks that this image has touched all of us here. The colors are beautiful, the texture is soft and the building is magical looking. The mass of leaves in the forground conceeding to the country road …. I could go on. Just perfect.

Lovely image of such an inviting place. The viewer feels drawn to follow the curving drive down to the barn to talk to the Hobbits! This would make a great post card/jigsaw puzzle/poster/greeting card……..better than drugs as an anti-depressant!
