November 2nd, 2009 at 5:48 amThat sinuous plant does look as if it’s trying to escape into solitude. It seems to wiggle and crawl directly at the viewer. Very well composed, and I doubt the effect would be the same in color. Very nice potd!

November 2nd, 2009 at 10:41 amInteresting lead into the image through the middle grass. I wonder about the burned out sky on the left, and maybe the shrubs in the top middle part need some light.
I like the way the image is composed as in the texture of the sand and choice of black and white makes this image wonderful.
