That sinuous plant does look as if it’s trying to escape into solitude. It seems to wiggle and crawl directly at the viewer. Very well composed, and I doubt the effect would be the same in color. Very nice potd!

Is it me or is this one a little under exposed?

Interesting lead into the image through the middle grass. I wonder about the burned out sky on the left, and maybe the shrubs in the top middle part need some light.

I like the way the image is composed as in the texture of the sand and choice of black and white makes this image wonderful.

Great composition and conception of the plant…giving human feeling to the scene, something we can all relate to–and that gives the scene more personal interest to the viewer.
