The Forest

A place I drive by every day for years always wondering when the light would be perfect one day....so one day it was perfect and I got the chance to capture it when I was driving home from my work. I was stunned by it's beauty and still are. So I thank God for giving me that moment and I will treasure it my whole life.

I can understand that – there are places I pass in the woods regularly where I am waiting just like that – in some places I have been rewarded, some I am still waiting for.

Hello Rosita, My grandparents (now passed on) spent their retirement years in the Santa Cruz, California, USA area. This picture is so, so similar to the scenes I remember going up the road to their home on “Porter Gulch Road”. Those trees were Redwood trees, but the density and the light coming through is the same! I thank you for sharing your talent in photography with us. It’s really breath taking . . .
