Palace of Magic

Taken during a trip to Utah last November. I’ve always wanted to visit Bryce Canyon during winter when the weather is “bad”. The weather was indeed bad, and very cold. I spent the first day scouting and returned to the rim the next morning. The sun finally came out and the entire amphitheater was flooded with magic light.

Equipment: Canon 5D + EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L USM. 40mm 1/25sec at f/16, ISO400,Tripod.

Indeed the light is glorious, though the upper Right corner can do with some tendering Post Processing.

Very beautiful. The slopes remind me of the colorful skirts worn by dancers from some Latin American countries.

I love how you captured the depth of the canyon. I remember when I went to Bryce Canyon, I thought I had landed on Mars. Beautiful Shot!
