With the tufa towers standing as silent sentry, Mono Lake awaits the arrival of the sun on a clear, quiet summer morning.

I’ve been enthralled with photography since I was a boy.
I took a long hiatus then got back into it seriously about two years ago.
I’m trying to make up for lost time.

I think I’ve seen a similar shot of monolake onthis website I think it’s well executed with some good detail inthe forground

I like the composition, and the colors are wonderful. Nothing quite as grand as sunrise on the water!

Mono Lake is one of my favorite spots on the planet! The colors are perfect, the composition
is great, and the depth of field shows the size of the lake and distant mountains. Thanks for taking me there again!
