Long’s Peak Sunset
by Tad Bowman
This photograph depicts Long's Peak at Sunset taken in the Rocky Mountain National Park. On the horizon there was a little break in the clouds which allowed the sun to illuminate the scene in a nice warm color.

Alpenglo is always entrancing. The rocks show great strength and character, almost like sculpture.
Very nice potd!

Love the color on the mountains.

Nice photo but I would have cropped in a little closer as the rocks actually feel like a wall obscuring the view behind.

Balanced nice shot. I like the color but it does not say much. But its just my opinion. I do appreciate the fact that the image is focused all over and that is something I vow for

Rocky indeed! Nice warm glow in what must be a pretty cold area. I like the different colors on the foreground,

.. must be a fantastic scene on a sunny day as well.

There is a big giant laying on the ground on the right side of this rock, pointing with his finger up and on the left side on the top of the rock there is a little UFO saucer sitting.
I couldn’t help to notice.
Great shot though. I love the shade created by the sun on the rock. And I love how clear is the air in the mountains, had an opportunity to climb one of similar mountains once and will never forget the experience. Thanks for reminding about that with your shot
