Surface Surveillance
by Linn Smith
Lake Jessup lies just 20 minutes from Orlando, in the heart of Seminole County. It is a beautiful 100,000 year old lake that over 10,000 gators call home. Since the lake comprises almost 10,000 acres and has a circumference of 28 miles there is plenty of room for these gators. It is a wonderful opportunity to see one of these reptiles in its natural habitat as it surveys the surface of the water.

The clean, calm water seems very inviting but I won’t be getting near it any time soon… The croc pic is superb!
