Cormorant Dawn

Shanks Island on the Chesapeake Bay is the summer home to thousands of nesting pelicans, seagulls, and cormorants. Three cormorant chicks on the nest greet the rising sun.

ABSOLUTLEY WONDERFUL! The sun moves quite fast so you had to be on your toes! The sticks in the nest are even represented well and the little feathers on the necks, wonderful detail….just Wonderful!
