I thought I was looking at a painting – not a photograph- then I read the notes. My congratulations.
Oh my gosh! This looks like a painting! Splendid colors and wondeful eye! I bet you were in awe of it all. Such crisp colors, can almost smell the air. Thank you for sharing.
Love the colors seems like the elk is also enjoying theview
This is wonderful and what a bonus the elk is, beautiful scene, many congrats
I can’t seem to figure out where you have placed the transition of the ND Grad. Is it bang in the center? (That would be the only option I guess if its a screw on type). Can you please throw some light?
That’s a glorious golden glow you have on that one Joseph!!
This is just about as good as it gets; a magnificent shot.
Nice shot, congrats!!
Beautiful scenery, notes and Photo.
Funny title for the most insignificant part of the picture, but great shot;lovely reflections.
nice reflection in there.
Gorgeous color and scenery but, without the elk it would have been just one more pretty picture like many we see on this website.
Stunning. My vote for top nature image seen on this site so far.
You can see all your experience and hard work in this one, masterful!
Kind of funny, usually the animals leave the frame right at the last minute! You were indeed blessed this time!
wow what a excellent shot!
congrats! looks so beautiful!
The Elk looks captivated by this marvelous scene as well, Great capture!
This reminds me of those early American “New World” paintings, in which western bound artists heralded the edonic beauty of still largley unseen land.
A fairy tale shot Joseph.
Some incredible colors in this picture.
I have to agree very nice photo & the elk makes a + difference
What a wonderful capture. I love mountains and wildlife, and this is one of the best I have seen.
Congratulations!!!
Great shot, but is its just me thats seen this before? Maybe even on this site?
Magnificent! I just want to keep soaking it in.
This scene is even color-coordinated, with “burnt orange” from the mountain peaks to the autumn leaves to the reflections to the highlights blended in the elk’s coat.
It’s as if God took a paintbrush…
Rocky Mountain National Park is where I fell in love with mountains at age 9. This is a beautiful shot! Very well done–congrats.
