The differents shades on the rocks, mixed with the shadows and the snow patches, makes it a great shot ! the presence of the tree makes it even greater

I always long for the pics that show what the eye sees, like they did in the old days. The treat was in the capture of the moment, the location and the way the photo was cropped. In b&w, certain filters enhanced the look, such as clouds, but then the eye doesn’t see in b&w anyway. This is a wonderful picture.

Brice canyon ( Utah, USA ) is one of my favorite place in the world, it’s just unreal to see those colors, shapes taken by the rocks.
