Absolutely breathtaking! Terns are one of the most elegant birds on earth and they certainly do fly like angels. Your photo really accents their ethereal quality. Definitely one of my favorite potd’s! By the way–these birds are not as fragile as they might appear–they migrate from pole to pole–can you imagine?!

Stunning photo, but I too would like a little more info about the shot. Why is the background completely white? Was that done with photoshop, or in a studio or out in nature that just happened to be that white?
