Storm
by shellorz
The shapes those clouds can take for a very short time are impressive. If you're imaginative enough you can see a hurling ghost diving onto the town with an open mouth and very long hair.

Very impressive storm front! If I saw a cloud like this in Michigan, I’d listen for the tornado warning sirens. Clouds are amazing, I agree, and you have captured a wonderful turbulent and moody shot!

It is a wonderful capture of clouds in motion. The menacing ghost is pretty nasty looking. Thanks for the play time in the clouds.

Ditto on the previous question – where was the shot taken? Are there any tech specs – e.g. camera, lens, exposure, etc. And, I’m new here, is Photoshop enhancement of photos allowed?
Ellen Empson
I can honestly see what you described, very imaginative! Great Image.

This is awesome!!! I LOVE clouds!!! Chet, HDR stands for high dynamic range. It is when an image contains extremes in light from highlight to shadow. You shoot several identical shots that are exposed for the different ranges of light in the landscape. Like one for the foreground; one for the sky, etc. Then you merge them together to get the right exposure for the image as a whole. There is software to help with the process.

I like your perspective, how all the lines end up in one focal point, well done.
