Mossbrae Falls

This is Mossbrae Falls, near Dunsmuir, CA. It is the most tropical-looking place in California. You would think this is in Hawaii or something! Beautiful place with lots of waterfalls, rocks, and water. I love where I live.

California is full of surprises. It seems to have every type of habitat within a few hours of each other. Burney Falls is a little south and east of Mt. Shasta and a must see if you’re in the area. I was only there once, but it is much like this one–secluded, luxurious green and tropical, yet surrounded by jagged mountains, lava beds, and only a short drive away, high desert. This is a wonderful potd!
