The cloud formations mimiking the form the tree trunks and and the branches make this image very powerful.

What a beautiul photo! This reminds me of the foothills where I lived in California, except the trees there are oaks. One can’t imagine the beauty of the grasses blowing in the wind, the contrast of light and shadow/sky and earth, yet you’ve managed to capture it. Very lovely potd.

The sky with its cloud formations and the dividing lines lit up, makes it a powerful picture. Good shot Torsten.

Beautiful composition – like we are seeing the curvature of the earth. Also love the contrast in color, and simplicity of form…..excellent!!!
