Fish Market

by Simon Campnell

The two tourist looking at the fish are no doubt concerned about the tuna overfishing facing the world fish market.

While overfishing is a major concern, I think I’d be interested in just a bit more than that. As a none-pro, I’d like to see what else you’ve done. Not wanting to hurt your feelings, but being candid, this photo just doesn’t do much for me, except for the angle – but that’s not even particularly unique. Good luck to you, though.

Looks like difficult shooting conditions. Rendered best in black and white.

great angle and very nice shot of the subjects. there are three elements the fix the fisher and the customer. I like it.

I like salmon more than tuna. I use to have tuna when I was younger.

Maybe they are concerned about the over-fishing; I’d be concerned with ‘.. how long have these been sitting here & for how much longer?’

What makes you think these guys are looking at these fish with a concern? Probably looking to eat them.

Fishing is a touchy subject where I live. The local guys have a strict quota but the factory ships beyond the twelve mile limit have sucked up everything and devastated the fish stocks.

This is a really interesting shot, makes you wonder what was happening in it. When I first looked at it, it looked like pairs of shoes lined out.

I like the woman’s ghostly figure coming in from a different dimension. This picture could inspire a great story!
