If I hadn’t see the mountains like this personally, I would never believe this photo wasn’t ‘doctored’!
Days like this are never forgotten–thanks for such a wonderful view.

Apt title, it does indeed look like the mountain is on fire. Enjoyed your website too.

Has this been saturated or are those natural colors? It’s a nice shot; very dramatic.

I enjoy the contrast between the dark waters, smoothed by a slow exposure, and the distant red mountain and clouds. A rare and beautiful capture.

Very nice looks almost like a painting

Frankly, it is too touched up for my likes.

This is the sort of photo, where I wish I was standing there myself. Nice !

I figure to get this light, someone had a cold nights’ sleep. Hope you had a warm sleeping bag.

Completely sureal. Looks like a fantasy painting.

I like the lovely rhythm created by the two mountains in the distance and the two arches of the waterfall in the foreground. A nice vantage piont.

This was actualy shot on film about 6 years ago. I used a 3 stop ND grad to hold back the exposure on the sky while exposing for the foreground (waterfall, lake tree’s). I did shot this on Fujichrome Velvia 50 and if you ever shot velvia you will be aware of the rich saturated color pallete. Thanks, Joe.
