What a beautiful photo! Though I’ve never seen a puffin, they are one of my favorite birds. This is a great habitat shot–the bird perched on the ground by its burrow surrounded by wildflowers. Muy bien, Juan. Me gusta much esta potd!

Go to this guy’s website and check out his other
work. Beautiful work and a great eye. I started
with the wildlife galleries of Finland (bear photo) and Ireland (puffin photo.)

I see puffins here in Nfld. and I’m always amazed by their beauty & grace. Thanks for sharing.

It has a look of curiosity on its face–can it see you? So seldom do we really get a close look at animals–beautiful work.

Great picture! Puffins are my favorite birds but they always elude me. I only caught a glimpse of one in Alaska once (they fly very fast) and I just missed their nesting season on the Orkney islands in Scotland :(
