What a lovely building! I’d like to know more about it. I like the numerous textures–puffy clouds, old architecture, and swirling water. Very nice photo.

I think this is absolutely stunning, I love the way you have even managed to capture the eddy in the water.

Its nice to see a picture from Scotland, were those the natural colors or did you have to saturate a bit?

LOvely! Great photo, indeed. I will have a chance to see this with my own eyes in a couple of weeks when I visit Scotland for the first time!

What a beautiful shot. Even the clouds co-operated! The water capture is amazing.

So well done!!
how do you like that Sigma 10-20 on your D80? I have been thinking about adding that lens..I have a D80 also, I know with a C-sensor you can’t get the full frame benefit of the wide angle, but how do you like it?

The huge building looks to be sitting in the middle of nowhere! Great colors of the river falls, though.

Ellen you should also consider Tokina 11-16 2.8.
Its much sharper and a full stop faster. I have it. Though Its not SWM (will not autofocus on D40 etc. — hardly an issue with wide angles)
Go to Kenrockwell’s site for his views. (I know he is unconventional at times)

Nice colours, I always love a good waterfall shot. It gives you something to do on a cloudy day.

Thanks for all the comments, i’ll try to answer a few of your question

Can you tell us the shutter speed for this? this is a 3 image hdr, the three shots had shutter speeds of 1.3 second, 5 second and 20 seconds.

Were those the natural colors or did you have to saturate a bit? I did add a little bit of saturation, not much as i had strong light on the red bricks.

how do you like that Sigma 10-20 on your D80? Love it, great lens and very sharp.

Cheers Rick
