Stonethwaite Valley

Stormy spring conditions in the Lake District earlier this year allowed for some unique lighting conditions for the valleys. The valleys around the small village of Stonethwaite, UK have been a favorite place of mine to walk for 20 years and for my father for 50 years.

Stonewaithe is a small village we spent a night in while walking the coast to coast trail last month. The scenery as we left the village was among the prettiest on the whole trip. your picture captures its beauty
