Shukran Zainab, wa mabrouk. What a beuatifully centred reflective photo. I love seeing the spaces between people on the right side of the Kaaba, stops the pic from being ‘too-perfect’. Thank you and congrats again.

A whirpool of humanity surrounding the center/heart with the two tiers of arches with their arms around the woshipers. The brightly lit colums standing above offering protection. Beautiful shot Zainab Alsattrawi. Don’t stop.

I am so impressed. This is a National Geograpic worthy photo. To find out it was taken by a 15 year old humbles me.
It is just beautiful and I love the title. In a way, all of us are between Mercy.

During the Islamic months of pilgrimage, Mecca hosts the largest single gathering of human beings on the planet. It’s very interesting to show the mosque during a non-busy period, as this makes it more accessible and human. Very beautiful shot, although pics of Mecca full with people prostrating is a sight to behold indeed.
And to Lisa: Zainab is a woman’s name.

Thanks for this great picture. The enormous expanse on the platform that allows so many pilgrims to pray at the same time is really amazing. I especially like that this ia a place for mercy and forgiveness.

I’m wondering if this gathering is for a special day or is having this number attend, a natural occurrence. It is all so beautiful!

The great thing about photography is that the interest is shared by people of all races and religions without prejudice. We are all God’s children but sometimes we forget that fact.

Great image of the most sacrate piece of earth to Islam. Even though i don´t express any kind of faith the Hadj, it is for me, one the most amazing voyages done by those of faith! It is a shame, but understandable, that us occidental cannot enter in holy city of Meca!
Gives us more images of your reality!
