Surreal
by David Lazar
In the White Desert of Western Egypt - the natural white rock formations present a landscape like no other. It is possible to do an overnight safari to this desert and camp out in tents in this vast and unusual location.
Equipment: Nikon D70s

I'm a photographer from Brisbane, Australia - and one of the joys for me (outside my musical profession) is travelling and capturing moments of life and beauty through photography.
My favourite styles of photography: Portraiture and landscape. Also, in general, I prefer shots which contain an element of 'cannot be captured exactly again'; that is expressive people shots, action shots and any scenario with a unique aspect to it.

An interestening landscape for sure! Lovely colors in the sky.

It is really surprising that these shots coincidentally are in Egypt since that rock formation in that far looks exactly like the sphinx.
The image is overall nice and pleasing

Wonderful and as your title suggests- sureal, could be a scene from a sci-fi film.

What an interesting place! I can imagine how wonderful these formations look as they change color at dusk, at dawn and in between. Moonlit nights must be spectacular! Thanks for taking us there!

That’s one of the most unique places I’ve ever been, great composition and lighting. I don’t think you can take a bad photo in white desert!
