		<description>Wonderful colors and exposure really let the viewer be &#039;at the beach&#039;.  The horseshoe crab has blue blood which is collected  for research--something about the clotting or anti-clotting factor.  The crabs are returned to the sea unharmed--except for a little humiliation.  The egg-laying season is essential to the migration pattern of the Red Knot--a sea bird that migrates the Atlantic seacoast.  Isn&#039;t it nice that this pre-historic creature can provide sustenance for birds, medical miracles,  and &#039;soul-food&#039; as well?</description>
