These birds live down on the river close to where I live but they are very hard to photograph.

Thank you everyone for your kind support and encouraging words! It is greatly appreciated! I spent many hours by a local lake looking for birds to captureâ€¦no birds showed up. As I was about to leave I heard a sound and this snowy egret came flying by. I was able to get only this one imageâ€¦there was no cropping. Luck was a major factor in achieving this image. Thank you again!

Although this magnificent egret’s wings appear beautifully delicate, they are extremely powerful, and his yellow eyes show steel determination. Wonderful photo!
