Bombo is a V cut coast line lying along the Northern of Kiama. It took me 30 mins to drive from Wollongong, NSW, Australia and when I arrived it was sunset. It took a while of searching to find the best and safest spot to setup my tripod and capture the wave roaring back and forth.

A bit more history of this field. This wasn’t a popular photographers known spot until a geography scientist told his photographer friend about Bombo, then became popular. It was a volcano field million years ago and those rocks along the coast was formed by lava.

Magnificent color and action. Even the tumultuous water appears to have some hard edges, counterbalanced by the softer clouds in the same colors. Very well done!
