amazing its really close up how did you get that close?
Reminds me of one of those old busts of Roman Emperors. Powerful and regal. Beautiful detail of its head feathers. Thanks for sharing.
Very powerful, very intense. Great picture – thanks for the great pic!
This certainly exemplifies the term ‘eagle eye’! I still remember the first bald eagle I saw in the wild, and all these years later, I still get that same rush whenever I see one. Amazing bird–wonderful photo. What a portrait!
Only a neck tie is missing Sir!
Wonderful shot. Where was this shot.
I’m glad I’m not a mouse.
This guy would be an impressive attorney!
WOW!!!!!!! Magnificent bird! I wonder why they’re called “bald” eagles… Does anyone know?
This guy looks tough, and the shoulders does remind one of an elderly gentleman. Great shot!! Wonderful details.
Wild Royalty !
I’ve always heard that the ‘bald’ comes from Old English–piebald refers to white markings. This particular fellow looks like a junkyard dog–what amazing character in this marvelous close-up!
That is an amazing close picture of him. I love the detail.
