Nice zones of color. Could have dodged the closest mound a bit for it to match with the over all tonal values of the scene, or darkened the second mound on the left, to bring about better balance. Just a thought.

This is a really nice shot; I think it would have been better in landscape format so that we could have seen more of the mountains.

Interesting. Like a good painting, one has to study it for awhile to really appreciate the intricacies of patterns and colors. I personally like the contrast of the dark mound in front – Nice work. Keep it up.

Almost looks like a knitted sweater. So many wonderful colors, those that don’t even pop out at you. Good eye and depth. Keep up the grand work. Looks also like a giant huddle!

I like this scene just as it is! By leaving out a horizon, it forces the viewer to concentrate on the colors and textures of the desert. It is much like an impressionist painting. Great photo in my humble opinion.
