I stood at the end of that pier one winter night when the waves were cresting within a foot of the deck! Cool to see it transplanted to the Caribbean Sea. What did you use to get the color effect?

  2. Ariel Ariel Says:

Like something out of a turquoise and teal dream. :)

  3. Anurag Anurag Says:

A Very very layered and textured image. You can keep on discovering new patterns and rhythms one after another. Great colors. The heavy weather has provided a wonderful soft lighting to bring out the details in the shadows.

Nice colors and nice composition. Attractive picture.

  6. KeithT Says:

I have seen this type of shot many times, but this one has an interesting symmetry. The use of a much slower shutter speed would have enhanced the image a bit more I feel, giving the sea that smokey effect. Nevertheless it is a cracking example of this kind of shot.

  7. Pauline Jones Pauline Jones Says:

I suspect a little saturation on this one,but this is a really good photograph; the geometry is excellent.

I love it. To make something ordinary look extraordinary takes a good eye and a special effort.

I also like the symmetry and soft colors. For some reason, I can’t get out of my head the image of imaginary cows/cattle standing in line… must be the dark “hooves”

  12. Marie Dunphy Harding Says:

You’ve turned an ordinary subject into an extraordinary picture! Nice work!

  14. Laurie Laurie Says:

The fog blends the blues of sky and water into a dream-like atmosphere,
and the unique perspective of the pier creates a tunnel,
leading the dreamer into another world…
