I’ve seen plenty of looking up pictures (taken quite a few myself) but I’ve never seen one that included the ground as well. This super wide shot with the split trunk gives a wonderful twist to the merging tree photo. Splendid color.

Wow! Great colors, great composition, great effect.
I don’t recall seeing many Yosemite pics without a waterfall and/or massive rocks. You remind us of the diversity there. Thanks.

I think most of us forget to look up often enough! This is a beautiful image. The color is astounding and I love the flow of the image given the ground you included in the shot. Great work!

Excellent photo with great composition. Pauline, it may not be an original idea (how many are?) but it is incredibly well executed (by the way, pauline, your website has a virus/ trojan. I tried to see what ‘artistic’ work you have up there, but my anti-virus warned me that you have a trojan). The colors and the lines are just fantastic.

Awesome shot; always an attractive angle and like how you may or may not have composed the circle of blue sky into the middle of the image. Nicely done.
