Dead End

by Linn Smith

Although the snail generally feeds at night, this snail was found during the day seemingly reaching a dead end as it was roamed on a garden plant.

Very rich blue in the sky there…..makes for a great non distracting background and pleasing color triad ……also great is the bilateral symmetry along the diagonal. Great Macro!

This made me smile, had he wandered up and down those leaves all night long only to be found in daylight and still nowhere? Oh lovely colours by the way!

This is a lovely little photo; I love snails, you can almost see the eyes on the end of his stalks.

Great Macro image. The colors are so well put together and the snail is pretty clear and crisp.

Your “Dead End Snail” gave me quite a chuckle!
Very creative and well done. Notice how the minute weight of the tiny snail was enough to bend the tip of the leaf! All of God’s creatures are marvelously made.

Nice shot! I evicted his tiny cousin from a morel mushroom I found Friday. We all seem to find tiny things so fascinating, and this is a great glimpse into a small, small world.
