Shaft of Light

In the middle of the day, once enough dust has been kicked up, shafts of light penetrate the slot canyons outside page, creating a striking visual against the brilliant red and purple sandstone.

Very nice, It reminds me of some of the desert pictures we’ve seen lately. I love the terra-cotta earth tones (pardon the redundancy).

Thank you for the kind words. To answer Pauline, the shot is of Upper Antelope Canyon outside Page, AZ. I think the fact that it is on Navajo land adds a little to the mystique.
