The landsape of Bangladesh is really pristine!
Those children are picking up the sea shells, is it just for play or are they gathering them to make artifacts which they would later, sell?

Very nice image especially the black and white. It communicates very well the message and the hard shadows play an important role in the whole image.

Just a wonderful composition. Is it Kuakata?

Nice textures

This picture is interesting because it is of Bangladesh and most of us don’t know much of what that country looks like; if it had been a beach in Ireland where I live it would not have been considered rather empty. For me, unlike Nazrul’s other work, this picture doesn’t have much impact.

It would be nice to hear the story behind this photo. I like the composition and use of b&w.

Maybe they are picking up small crabs to eat? Yes, it would be nice to know more…

The land is soo flat! The children are a nice addition!

Taking all the color from the scene leaves us with a beach scene that instead of being colorful and natural, looks foreboding and surreal. Sand looks like dirt, the sky looks grey. We focus on the two skinny figures concentrating on picking up little somethings…. It is intiguing, and conveys a sense of unhappiness.

We have photos just like this in our family album–we all kept shells and rocks along our travels. Lovely photo of a quiet moment–we have so much more in common than we think. The textures of beach and water really come alive in b/w.

Somehow, I get the impression that these people are not collecting for fun, but for survival. Without the background story, this photo feels stark and sad.

I love the water scenes. Even in black and white it looks nice.

Nice picture Nazrul. This picture almost perfectly shows the main geography of my ancestral homeland; a land that is mostly fluvial and with many hopeful eyes in an environment of misery.
