Turn this picture on its side and I see an alien. But then again, there a lot of things in this wonder-world, that are alien without belonging to another place. Delightful.

The ancient and efficient predator, hungry again and watchful. You bring us up close and personal. Imagine that the Seminole indians wrestled creatures such as these!

Great work, Laura. Loved your website. Caimans in the Netherlands? On another topic, I have no idea what Human Movement Sciences involves (dance, music, anatomy, engineering, all of the above??) but it sounds fascinating.

Great image–I especially like the colors. I also see the alien and wonder whether the caiman sees the alien in us………..

I love the absolute stillness of the water and the watchfulness of the eye. The colrs are interesting, and so is the mirror image in the water. A very Interesting photo of nature!

WHOA! on top of all that has already been said, regarding photography, etc., as a viewer, you have managed to capture the feeling that he is looking not at a photographer, but as you said, looking at YOU! many thanks…

A killer stalking…and very clever as to not cause any ripples. So you have a clear reflection. Excellent catch and I am very glad you are at a safe distance.
