Each fall the San Juan Mountains show an absolutely incredible color display. It usually reaches its peak by the end of September. This image was shot at dawn on September 28, 2008.

that looks unreal! natural light doesn’t work like that. Although the colours are very attractiv, it looks a bit overprocessed. looking at it with a surreal concept – well done.

Great fall colors and the contrast with the monochromatic snow peaks, one suggestion – Extra saturation of the red orange has led to loss of detail in the tree leaves.

Ooh, wow, this is gorgeous!! The colors, and layers upon layers of differing landscape – what a beautiful composition! I wish I could have a copy to look at daily and remind myself of nature’s beauty.
