Yellow Doors

A very interesting visual that I spotted while walking towards the Golconda Fort.

I am totally taken in by photography as a medium. Photography allows you to look at the world in totally different perspective, trains your eyes to see the world in better light and look for beauty in the most unexpected of places. It is indeed very surprising that so much can be learnt and understood about our world just by freezing a frame for a fraction of a second.

A beautiful composition with a story to tell. The first doors are open wide, begging the viewer to enter, but the second set is only slightly ajar–we’ll have to work harder to find the real secret. You’re right–we can find beauty anywhere–we just need to look.

Excellent capture and it is not only story teller, it has so much of history connected with it. Your eye are well trained to see with creativity.

I sure do agree, those first set of doors beckon the viewer. I love the crumbling bright white stucco, showing the place is quite old but freshly painted, and the brilliant yellow colors. You can tell this is a place of importance, and for me, a place of mystery. Congrats on a great photo of the day!!

Very nice photo. I love those doors and the empty space between them, which I assume is open to the sky. Thanks!

Very interesting indeed. Great capture and lighting. This is an image with a composition that should be hanging on a wall, as it makes the viewer stare for a while and dream as to what’s behind that closed door, why do they invite one into the first set, yet do not leave a completely open invite. Great shot and a well deserved POTD. Congratulations.

Simple and elegant composition. Also note how the beam supporting the doorway is begining to cave in due to age.
