Tunnel View After A Snow Storm

by Kevin McNeal

This is an image from my recent trip to Yosemite National Park. I have always tried to time it so I would be there just after a snow storm. I finally got my wish and the sun was breaking and the valley was filled with fresh snow.
Equipment: Canon 5D MK2 17-40L

I’m still in the learning process, that page and gadget seem to help, it keeps me from thinking when I read all the time, less stress. RPMIII!

I think I have seen this same perspective in an Ansel pic or two. It would be neat to know you were taking in the same view, with some decades between

I wonder how many millions of photos have been taken from this overlook and how few of them are this good? My own souvenir shots of this view are all from June or July, but one of these years I’ll try it in winter. Thanks, Kevin, for a breath of fresh air!

Great composition but I’m a bit bummed by the soft/glowy processing. Either way, a fine photograph.
