Lovely shot, and I really like the moody colors. I can hear blues music playing as the water laps at my feet. Great composition and mood–very well done!

it looks like the city is pulling all the light in the sky towards itself

  5. Anurag Anurag Says:

The idea of two pegs playing off with the two pillars is valid but what is the point of such a shade of blue? Specially with all those tungsten and sodium lights in the background.

  6. Su Su Says:

Great artistic image for an amateur. Great image indeed especially the elongated clouds through that long exposure. I really like the effect of the farthest point to the closest subject.

I suppose one can actually witness such an absolutely blue landscape slowly rising before your eyes in the very early morning in Lisbon. The river is perfecty calm, the Atlantic is practically there, and the huge, open sky is, well, blue…

  14. Ellie Ellie Says:

Beautiful composition–the anchor tie works very well with the horizon line and bridge, an interesting part of the comp. BEautiful image.

I love the way the photo, in particular the foreground, is such a satisfying shade of metallic blue. The sparkling lights in the distance are also quite magical. A nice study of the colors and the medium, which work together in a magical way. Congratulations and thanks for sharing your work!
