Amazing photo! I wonder how close you were? Everything about the photo is beuatiful and so intense. Color is terrific as is the expression on the male lion’s face! i love the out of focus, menancing and stormy background sky.

I’ve heard about the stamina of mating lions. So……….did you watch them for the entire three days? Photographers are strange folks, aren’t we?

That’s a tremendous shot. Just dodge the face of the lioness a bit.

Its expensive to maintain a girlfriend!! Specially if she happens to be a mighty cat!!

This is a nice shot of nature. One of my favorite subjects, wild animals in their own environment, although I do not personally photograph this theme. I do appreciate photographers whom do. This is exceptional in so many aspects from the subject to the technical quality. Congratulations on a well deserved POTD!
