This looks as if you have a good grip on photography already. I NEVER feel alone when I am the only human on the beach, in the mountain meadow, or in the forest. Nature speaks quietly if we will only listen. The hush of the waves in your photo says volumes. Nice color, nice exposure, deep thought.

Great composition! It looks very much like a scene from a dream. Love the color and the blurriness.

I absolutely love this shot! Contrary to your caption though, it doesn’t speak of loneliness to me. A person connecting with pure beauty is such a peaceful feeling; I wish I was actually standing there
.

You are definately getting there.
Those patterns in the sand, filling up the otherwise huge negative space are really neat.
Well done, congratulations on POTD.

What a lovely capture in not the usual colors. Well-taken. Lonely? Never on the beach that speaks!! Love the use of slow shutter speed here.

Human being is lonlier and Nature is lonely and sad from neglect and wreckless abandon of pollution and lack of loving care from humans.
Beautiful image.

Makes me want to go to the beach and smell the air while I hear the sound of small waves breaking and feel the water around my feet and ankles as my feet sink into the sand. A feast for the senses. But not lonely. Out on a ship in the middle of the ocean would be very lonely, but not on the shore. Great photo – Congratulations!!

Lovely beach shot-lonely and serene.

Nice shot and colour. Always a bit tricky trying to include a figure in what must have been a long exposure.

Did you use a long exposure on this one? I love the way the waves, have a misty, quality to them.
