wow… this is quite stunning… i really like the color combo – a steely gray sky with the satiny sand… wonderful!
Very impressive–like a Georgia O’Keefe painting!
Stark, sensual, beautiful and moving… I especially like that the only real movement is the tiny wisp of sand blowing from the top-most dune, yet the colors and shadows give the impression that the dunes are alive and undulating. One of my favorites!
This is mesmerizing. I like the tiny wisp of sand movement on the tip of the dune, and in contrast to the silky smooth lines of the sand in the foreground…. amazing!
Rain clouds in the dessert!! Wow, a rare occurrence. The folds and creases in the sand make it look like a drape of canavas rather than the sand.
Congratulations!
For a moment it looked like crumpled brown butcher paper. At first I thought it needed a focal point, then I saw the wisp of movement. That is all it needed to shout.
I too thought it was brown paper crumpled up at first, what a wonderful shot. congrats
Thank you for all
Quite a minimalistic shot. Very nicely placed in the middle however the background, the clouds or what ever it is seems a little out of place cause the sand is too well lit.
such a great capture Adel…congrats
Such a peaceful and relaxing shot,Well done!
Beautiful Shot!
very nice shot – moves like the waves
Stunning, and the sky is unusual – usually we expect a blue rather than this steely grey! Really well done!
Just amazing contrast!Well done
Wow, so pure, simple and very amazing! Congrats
Hey you really photographed a beautiful scene. Well done and thank you for sharing it.
Regards, Gerry
Wow, really great. The sand does look like satin, and the colors are stunning, especially contrasted against the stormy sky! Congratulations on your beautiful POTD!!
The sand looks as if it is made of silky material and the color composition is just right.
Great image and colour…….but where is the camel…?
Makes me think of a wonderful custard cone!
Interesting and well composed photograph!
Very different. It looks like a mountain.
This a great shot so different from the usual desert ones.
