I’m mesmerised by the little dot points his feet make on the leaf, it’s almost as though it was a cgi character! very very cute and ingenuous perspective.

Very nice, unique and intriguing. Definitely one of the top POTD’s in my book.

glad you got some shots while there are still some frogs left

I like the idea of a silhouette with depth. Normally they just run flat, but this takes on the character of a shape in the fog.

Great picture, original and creative. Certainly it doesn’t go unnoticed!
What attracts attention most, are the super detailed and focused “fingers”. These, and the bi-chromatic black/green combination, make this picture a rare masterpiece.

cool image I really like this shot considering the subject is hidden by the leaf it still gains a lot of attention.

This frog seems to have three toes, usually they have five. I like the shot, I like frogs, I photograph and paint them.

This shot radiates happiness and warmth. The warm glow of the sun hitting the banana leaf and coming through to the other side, while the sillhouette has such depth, with variations of colors and tones – Excellent POTD!! Congratulations!!

Thanks for the extra information; I looked frog’s toes up on the web and it seems that most frogs and toads have five back toes and four front ones, however the ones you showed me definitely seem to only have three; I wonder if this applies only to tree frogs?

Very impressive shot. I like the contrasting textures–round toes and soft shadow of the frog superimposed on the linear leaf. I’m also thankful that you noticed him. Some would have passed by without even seeing the beauty around them.
