Surely God’s creation is a glorious thing! A beautiful and unusual butterfly. Awesome picture!
Hey I just rescued a caterpillar thinking it was on its way to becoming a beautiful huge Red Moth (because
one has just died in my flat ) came in to check the POTD - and look what I found! What beauty, what happenstance, the natural balance of colour, the clarity of your focus - even the cobweb in the background - a reminder that life goes on, yes indeedy : ) Thank you.
This is proof positive that ‘less is more’! The natural muted colors are wonderful–no need for glitz. This is a wonderful potd, and especially meaningful for me today. Thanks for just the spot of beauty I needed!
Oh Wow! True, less is more until you look at the spectacular splendor of that butterfly. Nice capture!
Very nice low to high point of view. The back lighting is really working well over here.
Congratulations
My word, this is a beautiful photograph!
Fantastic shot such detail right down to the cobweb, congrats.
great shot indeed especially the DOF. very green but at least the butterfly grabs all the attention. The web is a hidden detail, i like it.
What a beautiful butterfly; I love the colors, they show God’s artistry.
The overall green tone makes the subtle blue in the wings stand out. So incredibly beautiful.
Great shot. Makes me want to tag along on my
husband’s next trip to Ecuador. South America
really does have amazing birds and butterflies.
Amazing!!!:)
The colours are lovely. Great shot!
This shot gives the butterfly the center of attention, & rightly so.
Beautiful potd.
I love the green tone to the overall image.
I just loved this photo. The shades of green are
the most lovely. This photograph exemplifies the exquisite beauty of nature and of the artistry of your photography.
Thank you for sharing this!
Great photo. The butterfly’s intricate patterns of shapes and colors are really amazing.

I absolutely love the different shades of the color green in this photo
Hi, Thanks for all the comments. I’m really happy that I could show some of the beauties from Ecuador.
Such a gorgeous creature, well captured in perfect detail, down to the ‘veins’ in the wings. Great shot!!
Captures the frailty and delicate nature of the butterfly. Love those hues of green and the way the light seems to outline the wings. Congratulations!!
You captured its delicacy perfectly. Love the background too!
Such a harmonious composition in color…..beautiful work.
